CNBC Shows Bipartisanship Does Exist

Yes, I know you are saying, well I work there so of course I would tout my network, but as Sr. Talent Producer at CNBC it is my job to book fair and balanced interviews. Working on booking today’s show, filling it to the brim with politicos you want to hear from is something I thrive on and its interviews like this one  that makes my job all the worthwhile.

In today’s world as we feel like we are adrift in a sea being churned by both political and economic uncertainty. Senators Corker and Warner working together is a refreshing sight. It begs the question: should fresh faces be leading this country or the career politicians that have been there for decades? What do you think?

  1. Hi Lori! This post answered my question to you on twitter. You do a great job everyday. How long have you been the Sr. Talent Producer at CNBC? In ’05-’07 I was really sick in bed all the time, up at weird hours of the night. That’s when I found CNBC and distracted me from things, but also found my love for the markets. If you have time, check this out…i wrote it for Quint Tatro of Tickerville.com over a year ago http://flyboysfund.jeffreylin.net/2008/10/22/trading-a-life-my-story-part-1/

    • Jeffrey,
Thanks for your kind comments 🙂 I have been at CNBC for 10 yrs in May, I’ve been Sr. Talent Producer for the network for almost three years. I read your blog. Wow. I pray you someday find someway to eat around your allergies. My son has an amazing allergist in Jersey. His name is Dr. Jeffrey Weiss. He is in Riverdale, NJ. One of the best in the state and he specializes in food allergies. I am happy CNBC brightens your day. You should write a book on your experience. You are not alone. I think you are an inspiration. Thanks for reaching out. If you like my show, you’d probably like my book too 🙂 Its called, “Thriving in the New Economy”. I sat down and interviewed 23 close contacts talking about how they reacted to the financial crisis but more importantly- what did they do about it? how are they thriving? Legendary investor Ron Baron even talks about the stocks he is investing in and why. I think its right up your alley. If you do get it ,please let me know your thoughts 🙂 Have a wonderful day!

  4. I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and engaging, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head.
The issue is an issue that not enough folks are speaking intelligently about.
I am very happy I came across this in my search
    for something regarding this.
